Started in Maya

This piece was my introduction to the zbrush pipeline. starting with a model created in maya that was then built upon. 

The Design

The design was an adaptation from another concept I often work on called “In the Abyss I Saw Stars”
the model was not to recreate a concept in Zbrush but instead to test the program with a clear starting point.

In Zbrush

from the low poly model, the sculpting began. Posed and textured in zbrush.

 

I quickly worked Zbrush into my work flow, modeling in Maya and sculpting and texturing in Zbrush before retopography or normal map generation if needed.
